The City of Campbell River (the City) intends to enter into the following agreements:
Campbell River Airport
25-year lease that will terminate on January 31, 2050, with the option to renew for 3 further terms of 25-years, to 1515962 B.C. Ltd., for an initial rent of $3.46/m2 ($30,136.60 annually) plus GST (Lease Area 25, 8,710 m2, Plan EPP143350).
#1414, 1400 Ironwood Street
3-year building lease that will terminate on December 31, 2027, to the Campbell River Seniors’ Centre, for a fee of $1.00. The current fair market value for a lease of the building is $91,200.00 per annum. The total assistance to be provided to the Campbell River Seniors’ Centre by way of rent abatement is $91,200.00 per annum.
The City will remain the registered, fee-simple owner of all lands and buildings described above.
