Emergency Preparedness

Emergencies can occur anytime, anywhere. Some allow for preparation; others occur swiftly and without warning. There are things we can all do to make emergency situations a little easier to handle. Your key to reducing the effects of an emergency is to be prepared. We all have a role to play.

Emergency Preparedness and Management within the City of Campbell River is a cooperative effort with the Strathcona Regional District. Emergency Management responds to major emergencies with planning, resources and personnel along with the firefighters and police officers that may be required to respond in an effective and coordinated manner to an emergency so that the municipality can remain in control of the disaster-response effort. more...

Fire Services

Fire Services are provided by the City of Campbell River Fire Department. The City of Campbell River Fire Department consists of two fire-halls and a compliment of career and auxiliary firefighters providing fire protection services throughout the city.
