The City of Campbell River provides grants, leases and permissive tax exemptions to eligible non-profit organizations that operate within the city or provide a service or benefit to the Campbell River community.

In November 2024, Council approved changes to the City’s financial assistance processes and allocations. A new policy, the City of Campbell River Financial Assistance Policy, is coming into effect and will be fully in place in 2026. More information on this policy, and grant writing workshops, events and resources to support non-profit organizations, will be made available as events are scheduled.

2025 Grant-in-Aid applications are now open and will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on February 7, 2025. The grant-in-aid process is unchanged from 2024 and will look similar to previous years.
