Campbell River firefighters provide residential, commercial and industrial fire suppression services but are also trained as emergency medical responders to assist with pre-hospital emergency care in the community. Additionally, they are trained in specialty areas like wildland firefighting, specialized rope and confined space rescue, vehicle rescue/extrication and hazardous materials response.
