All Campbell River residents are required to take reasonable steps to reduce wildlife conflicts by preventing wildlife access to unsecured or improperly stored waste, including garbage, recyclables and food waste.

Garbage, recycling and organics, which includes food and yard waste, may be put out on the curbside on the day of collection only, as per Recycling, Organics and Garbage Regulations
Bylaw No. 3950, 2024
.

If curbside collection is delayed, owners are required to remove their garbage, recycling and organics waste containers from the curbside by 8 p.m. that day and place them back out on the rearranged day of collection. Yard waste that does not contain food waste can be left at the curbside.
