Crime Prevention through environmental design (CPTED)

In 2020 Council decided to revise the Downtown Façade and Signage Improvement program with a specific focus on CPTED projects. In partnership with the Downtown Business Improvement Association (BIA) and as part of the City’s ongoing downtown revitalization efforts, the revised program provides grants to business and building owners seeking to create positive public and private interactions in the spaces surrounding their downtown properties.
