BC Energy Step Code
Please note - Step Code incentive funds are NOT AVAILABLE from the City of Campbell River in 2020.
The BC Energy Step Code is a Provincial initiative introduced in April 2017 to increase energy-efficiency requirements for new buildings, through an amendment to the BC Building Code. The Energy Step Code is a series of progressive performance targets (steps) that supports market transformation of new construction to meet a standard above the current base BC Building Code.
