    STATUTORY NOTIFICATION - City to provide 2024 Community Beautification Grants through partnering agreements

    City Council has approved in principle three grants for area-specific beautification initiatives, public art, amenities and public space programming. This year’s program will provide $10,000 in matching funds to the Campbellton Neighbourhood Association, and Willow Point Business Improvement Association, and $15,883.08 to the Downtown Business Improvement Association. Improvements will include decorative lighting, murals, flower planters, signage, litter abatement, and event programming.

    The draft partnering agreements and records relating to the proposed assistance are available for public inspection, by email, or by appointment between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, at City Hall. Council will consider the proposed partnering agreements at the regular Regular Council meeting on June 27, 2024.

    Notice is provided as required in Section 21 of the Community Charter.
