    TRAIL AND LANE CLOSURES FOR TREE-FALLING WORK AT 275 DOGWOOD STREET ON MARCH 1 AND 2

    The City of Campbell River (the City) will be conducting tree falling and related work at the Campbell River RCMP detachment (275 Dogwood Street) on Saturday, March 1, and Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The work is to prepare for a new access lane and parking lot expansion.

    Access to the trail from the nearby judo and soccer clubs on Merecroft Road, the lane from Merecroft Road to the RCMP parking lot and the City Pound, the North Island 9-1-1 tower access, the Pinecrest schoolyard, the public works yard and the RCMP parking lot will be restricted while the tree falling takes place. Access will be available for emergency vehicles. Follow all signage and traffic controls in place. 

    Clearing work will continue from Monday, March 3, to Friday, March 7, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the City asks the public to avoid the lane from Merecroft Road to the RCMP parking lot and the City Pound during this time.
