The Pier Street market is returning for another summer on Cedar Street. The market kicks off on Sunday, May 2, and will run through to September 26. The Market will be open every Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Cedar Street location offers a spacious, outdoor venue in the heart of downtown Campbell River. Last year, the Pier Street Market drew about 700 people and 21 vendors into the downtown area every week. Over the course of the 12-week operating season, 37 unique vendors were able to reach more than 8,300 local shoppers.

“It’s wonderful to see such support for our local producers and businesses,” says Rose Klukas, economic development officer at the City of Campbell River. “Shopping locally really does have a direct effect on the local economy.
