The City invites the public to Wildfire Community Preparedness Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 3, 2025, at Robert Ostler Park.

The event aims to raise awareness and share information with residents on actions that can be taken to reduce wildfire risks and make homes, the community, and surrounding areas safer. The City of Campbell River FireSmart Coordinator will be at the event, alongside members of the Strathcona Regional District, BC Wildfire Service, and local Emergency Support Services.

Learn and play with the whole family, as there will be a hot dog BBQ and bounce-a-rama onsite.
