There is a partial road closure on 16th Avenue, between Dogwood Street and Ironwood Road, taking place today, Wednesday, December 11, 2024. 

The closure is for road repair work on Dogwood Street South following a water main break. While this repair work is underway, single-lane traffic will be in effect and minor delays may occur. Follow all traffic controls in place. Local traffic access will be available.

After the road repair is completed, this portion of roadway will be gravel until asphalt paving can be completed.

There will be a water service disruption for some customers along 16th Avenue while the break is being repaired. Users in the area may notice discoloured and cloudy water resulting from the water main break. If you experience discoloured water, run your cold water taps until the water clears.
