There will be intermittent, partial road closures on South Dogwood Street, between Rockland Road and South McPhedran Road, beginning on Thursday, August 15 and running until Friday, September 13, 2024, between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The closures are for revitalization work at Dogwood Stormwater Detention Pond. One north-bound lane will be closed, and single lane traffic will be in effect at various times between these dates. Delays may occur.

The revitalization work will help maintain the Dogwood Detention Pond and allow it to continue to act as a stormwater pond that protects the nearby creek. The work will include tree removal, road grading, invasive and sediment removal.

The Simms Creek multiuse path may be impacted during this time.

Please follow all traffic controls in place along Dogwood Street and stay away from the detention pond if using Simms Creek trail multi-use pathway.
