ATTEND THE QUINSAM HEIGHTS NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN OPEN HOUSE

The City of Campbell River (the City) is nearing completion of the draft Quinsam Height Neighbourhood Plan (QHNP) and invites residents to attend an open house to review the plan and provide input.

    When: Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Where: Rotary Fieldhouse, 425 B Merecroft Road

The QHNP is a 20-year roadmap that will guide decision-making on land use planning and development in Quinsam Heights. It consists of priority policies and actions for five categories: housing; civic/institutional; environment, parks and open space; infrastructure and servicing; and transportation and mobility.

The draft QHNP was prepared through engagement with a project advisory team comprised of community partners, First Nations, residents, Council and City staff. Everyone is invited to attend the upcoming open house to provide feedback. The City will review all additional feedback received during the open house and through the City’s engagement platform before finalizing the draft QHNP and presenting it to Council for consideration.
