Work to prepare and pave the intersection at 16th Avenue and Petersen Road is postponed due to weather and will continue Wednesday, May 22, and Thursday, May 23, 2024.
On May 22 and 23, there will be a full intersection closure from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. Detour routes will be provided. Please follow all traffic controls in place.
The City of Campbell River's (the City’s) Asphalt Overlay Program is an ongoing initiative aimed at maintaining, repairing, and extending the lifespan of existing roadways. Thank you for your patience as the City completes this necessary work at the intersection of 16th Avenue and Petersen Road.
