    CAMPBELL RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO STRUCTURE FIRE ON CEDAR STREET

    At approximately 6:15 a.m. on April 28, 2024, the City of Campbell River Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 378 Cedar Street. Approximately 24 City firefighters responded to extinguish the blaze. There was no one home at the time and crews kept the fire contained to the original structure while protecting adjacent homes. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is being actively investigated.
