The Campbell River forecast calls for more snow throughout today. City crews are spreading a salt solution and plowing snow on arterial roads to reduce hazardous conditions. As the weather warms up and snow turns to rain, as is expected this weekend, we could see flooding if melting snow can’t reach storm drains. Please monitor and clear catch basins near your property to help keep water off roadways and our streets as safe as possible.
City staff will update residents on the latest road clearing conditions on the City website and social media and ask residents to avoid calling front desk staff for snow removal updates when possible. This helps staff focus on clearing the roads during this winter storm event.
