    City to provide assistance by partnering agreements for the 2022 Community Beautification Grants Program

    City Council has approved in-principle three grants for area-specific beautification initiatives, public art, amenities, and public space programming. This year’s program will provide $10,000 in matching funds to the Campbellton Neighbourhood Association and Willow Point Business Improvement Association, and $19,948.50
    to the Downtown Business Improvement Association (for initiatives in both the Downtown BIA and Pier Street areas). Improvements will include decorative lighting, murals, flower planters, waste receptacles, signage, musicians, and cultural performances.
     
    The draft partnering agreements and records relating to the proposed assistance are available for public inspection, by email, or by appointment between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, at City Hall.
     
    Council will consider the proposed partnering agreements on June 27, 2022.
