Broken items will get a chance at a second life thanks to the unique skills of volunteer fixers at Campbell River’s upcoming Repair Café.
Based on the success of the fall 2020 Repair Cafe, the City is hosting another opportunity for community members to get help with repairs on portable items this spring.
“We’re teaming up with local volunteers to offer another COVID-conscious Repair Café this April. Safe drop-off and pickup procedures will be in place to accept damaged or broken household items,” says Linda Nagle, recreation program coordinator. “If you can carry it, we will try and fix it!”
