Innovators from the around the world vie for up to $300,000 in total funding and services in Campbell River’s NexStream Tech Competition

More than 60 teams from around the globe applied to compete for a share of up to $300,000 in total funding and services in the second year of the NexStream Tech Competition—nearly double the amount of applications received for the competition’s inaugural year.

They’ve taken the first step by submitting expressions of interest. Now, they’re hard at work on the second: outlining their innovations in more detail and drafting preliminary business plans.

Shortlisted participants will be announced in January 2021. They’ll receive support from NexStream mentors as they move on to the final stages of competition and develop working prototypes, demos or proof-of-concepts. Read more...
