Music in the Night with Jesse Roper is a City of Campbell River Live Streets party that you don’t want to miss! The incredibly talented Jesse Roper and his band will take centre stage in an unforgettable summer performance on Shopper’s Row on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. There will be music, dancing, food, and drinks.
Jesse Roper, from Victoria, BC, is magnetic. With an explosive live show, the quality and charisma of his blues sound, rooted in soul, rock and country, is as approachable as his charm. The nostalgic may appreciate his throwback vibe akin to Stevie Ray Vaughan and vintage Texas blue. Jesse Roper's music remains current while his youthful energy captivates audiences, and his knockout live performance blows them away. Incapable of holding back, Jesse always delivers the show of his life.
Chalk-BLAST, Friday, September 2, 2022
This year, “Chalkfest” and “Last blast of summer” are joining forces to bring you Chalk-Blast on Friday, September 2, 2022, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. on Shoppers Row. This fabulous, fun and free event will provide an evening of creativity and colour. Shoppers Row will be transformed into a decorative mural of chalk art by Campbell River residents and visitors during the live competition! Bounce-a-Rama, food vendors, face painting, games, juggling music, and more will also keep you entertained.
