    Water disinfection changes

    Secondary water disinfection equipment to temporarily shut down for transfer to new facility – City to continue regular, extensive water quality monitoring to ensure public safety

    As of Oct. 1, Campbell River’s water system will temporarily return to using chlorination only for disinfection while ultraviolet equipment is transferred to the new water facility.
