ENTREPRENEUR IMMIGRATION

The Entrepreneur Immigration stream of the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is a path to immigrate to Canada and settle in B.C. for experienced entrepreneurs who can support innovation and economic growth in the province.  The Province recently launched the second round of the Regional Pilot which is designed for entrepreneurs who propose to establish and actively manage new businesses in regional communities in British Columbia such as the City of Campbell River.

ENTREPRENEUR IMMIGRATION – REGIONAL PILOT

This program targets entrepreneurs with a desire to start a business and settle in regional communities like Campbell River. Entrepreneurs and business ideas would be required to meet the following criteria to apply:

STEP 1: REVIEW THE BC PNP Program Guide

STEP 2: REVIEW our business tools and resources

STEP 3:

STEP 4: Fill out the Campbell River PNP Application form and attach:

NEXT STEPS

Note: Only applications who are deemed as qualifying for the PNP Regional Pilot Program in Campbell River will be contacted.

After the initial assessment of the application, the foreign entrepreneur will be asked to present their business idea to the community’s designated contact person via a virtual platform such as Zoom. If the business idea fits within Campbell River’s key sectors, then the contact person may offer a letter of invitation for an exploratory visit to the applicant. The exploratory visit allows the applicant to visit the community to refine the business plan further and see if Campbell River is indeed the place to call home!

Post exploratory visit, if the business still is deemed by all parties to be a good fit for Campbell River, then the contact person may prepare a referral form for submission as part of the applicant’s BC PNP registration with the Province.
