Campbell River’s yard waste drop-off centre on Willis Road will close at the end of July, and Emterra Environmental is actively seeking a new location for this service.
In the meantime, City residents can continue to have unlimited amounts of yard waste collected at the curb each week.
People can also take yard waste to the Campbell River Waste Management Centre at 6700 Argonaut Road. The facility is open seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There is no fee to drop off grass and leaves. For any branches or other materials requiring chipping, fees are $10 for less than 100 kilograms or $65/tonne. (The fee for garbage is $130/tonne.) More...
