About Fire and Rescue

The Campbell River Fire Department provides five key services to Campbell River and surrounding areas.

Campbell River firefighters provide residential, commercial and industrial fire suppression services and are trained as emergency medical responders.

Fire Dispatch

The Fire Dispatch Centre at the No. 1 Fire Station provides dispatch services for over 81 fire departments.

Fire Recruitment

The Campbell River Fire Department hires in three different areas: career firefighters, paid on-call firefighters and fire dispatch.

If you want to get a copy of a fire or incident report, or a Comfort Letter or Bylaw Compliance Letter, you can submit a request to the City.
