The Financial Services Department manages the City's Financial Information System, which includes the provision of accounting services such as payroll, accounts payable, taxation, utility billings, investments, debt management, and general accounts receivable.

Each year, properties in the City of Campbell River are assessed property taxes that help pay for city services such as recreation facilities, parks and trails, city streets and storm drain systems.
