MUNICIPAL REBATE TOP-UPS FOR HEAT PUMP
Campbell River homeowners can take advantage of municipal rebate top-ups for switching from a fossil fuel heating system (oil, natural gas, or propane) to an electric air source heat pump. A $350 top-up is being offered by the City of Campbell River until March 31, 2025, There are additional heat pump rebates currently available through the CleanBC Better Homes Program and through BC Hydro.
Heat pumps are the most energy-efficient, climate-friendly heating systems available in B.C. and provide the added bonus of central air conditioning for those warm nights, without the need to purchase and maintain a separate system.
Municipal heat pump top-ups are administered by the B.C. Government and will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis until March 31, 2025, or while funding lasts. Only one application is required to be considered for provincial and municipal rebates. For more information and eligibility requirements for the Campbell River $350 heat pump top-up, and to complete an application, visit Campbell River Heat Pump Top-Up - Better Homes BC.
