The Recreation and Culture Department is partnering with the Downtown BIA during the
Big Truck Parade on Friday Dec 2 to offer some fun activities for families to participate in. You can have a chance to show off your gingerbread decorating skills at our 4th annual Gingerbread House Competition. Entries are not limited to the structure of a house. Competitors are welcome and encouraged to uniquely design their entry. Entries will be displayed at the Tidemark Theatre to vote on during the week leading up to the Big Truck Parade and up to 7 p.m. on December 2. Come on down, vote for your favorite. Entry forms can be picked up at the Community Centre or, Sportsplex. Categories and prizes for Adult, Child and Family. There will be cookie decorating, crafts and games for the whole family taking place during the event at the Art Gallery.
