A water main break in the 300-block of Erickson Road has caused dirty water running to homes in the neighbourhood.

The Water Department is currently working on the repair, and water has been turned off on Erickson between Holmstead and Harrogate.

For residences in the surrounding area experiencing dirty water, please run a cold water tap (bathtub would be ideal) for approximately 30 minutes until the water run clear.

Residences with no water at the moment should run a cold water tap for approximately 30 minutes once water service is restored.
